Sample Press Release
Do you need helping recruiting volunteers, or are you looking for some media coverage for your event? We have drafted a generic press release (24kb Word document) that you can customize and send to your local papers, community television stations, and any relevant groups that send out newsletters. Please feel free to contact us if you need any help with your outreach efforts. If someone does a story on your event, we'd like to know about it, so please send us a link.

Poster Notice
This year, we are trying something new! In order to cut down on the amount of paper we use, COASTSWEEP Coordinators can type directly into these 8 ½" x 11" (278kb PDF) and 11" x 17" (359kb PDF) posters, save them, and print out copies as needed. For those of you who want to use the poster but do not have access to a printer, just let us know, and we'll ship some to you with your supplies.

Shipping Information
All material will be shipped to local coordinators at least one week before the cleanup date. Shipping dates will be posted here as cleanups get closer.

Raffle Information
We are very pleased to announce that Loree Griffin Burns, author of Tracking Trash, has once again offered to donate two autographed copies of her book and a class presentation to three lucky raffle winners.
